Valentines Brownie Recipes
frosting brownies?
I'm making brownies for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and the brownies i want to write some nice things like "I love you" "You're cute" and stuff. but I put them in a bag, as small and cute to give him, but if I use regular cake icing, is so soft that you leave when I put the brownies together. so I need a recipe or a type of merengue that you can buy at the store which is hard after being put on the brownies to get out. i can buy something better in store. thanks!
how about royal icing? you can buy in stores or do. the recipe below: 3 tablespoons of Wilton meringue powder 1 (16-ounces) powdered sugar (4 cups) 6 tablespoons of hot water mixed food coloring Beat all ingredients until peaks form ice (takes about 10 minutes at low speed on mixer) Tint with desired food colors. Note: The icing dries very quickly to maintain container covered while working in the brownie.
